This is an amazing book I first discovered as an e-book at my local library.The author cured himself of MS, and his life took a total change in direction as he pursued HEALING. He studied Chinese medicine and Qi Gong from healing masters in China.But what is so remarkable, is that the author outlines how YOU can heal your body. This is NOT a get healed quick scheme. In fact, I purchased it, because I realized that there was so much material to absorb, learn, and develop in myself to overcome dis-ease in my body.This is a book you cannot just rush through. It requires time, practice, patience, and re-reading. It is not a big volume in terms of pages, but it is a huge book of knowledge and wisdom. It can help you to help yourself -- physically and spiritually.It is an amazing story and source of inspiration. It is about the process of healing and hope.
This is a really helpful book,with lots of details .The author tells you exactly what you have to do,for example ,he suggests that around sixty to ninety minutes of chi kung daily is needed.Also read the ebooks by Betty Iams.
I read this book over the summer, taking my time to digest and put into practice what I could. I found his suggestions on emotions, nutrition, detox and exercise very, very helpful. I love how he outlines and explains each technique and/or change so it is easy to follow.I recommend this book for everyone, not only those with health problems.His ideas are fresh and encouraging. I refer to it at least once a week, if not more - still!

Dermot O'Connor misses out 2 vital factors in his 5-step recovery plan, the 1st one being DETOXIFICATION! You cannot rebuild and maintain a healthy immune system without cleansing it first, and I wasted £2,500 on acupuncture and Chinese medicine as a result of this book trying. Dermot also omits the importance of chiropractic treatment and the fact that misaligned vertebra can often cause many of the symptoms of MS. The spine is the backbone of the nervous system and correcting it must therefore be part of the key to the cure. In addition, he claims to have had a "particularly virulent strain of MS" - that is simply not true! All he had were 2 minor sensory attacks. A lot of people have these, do nothing and get better anyway. Dermot's so-called "recovery" would have been much more believable and convincing if he had been far more debilitated, ie if he had lost his mobility and/or his health had been rapidly deteriorating. Some of his suggestions are quite ridiculous too. You are not going to cure yourself of a serious illness by "punching a bag to get rid of your anger" or "imagining long blue roots extending from your feet into the earth" etc! Plus if you are seriously disabled from MS or any other disease, then you are not going to be able to do most of the exercises he recommends. These are really aimed at people who have minor illnesses or minor attacks of serious illnesses. At best this book has some useful tips. Take out of it what you want/need and dump the rest, but don't treat it as your bible.
